Spring semester 2023 began with a twist. In addition to the first day of classes arriving earlier than usual, many news articles, blog entries, and social media posts were focused on an emerging artificial intelligence text generator known as ChatGPT.

Happy New Year! We are wondering how it can be time to start classes already, but our spring lineup is ready to support your teaching. Be sure to note our drop-in course preparation support on Jan. 5-6.

The upcoming calendar changes will be an adjustment for all of us. We will be on hand for drop-in consultation hours via Zoom on both January 5th and 6th.

Texas Teach-Up (TxTU) brings instructors from all colleges and schools together to celebrate and reflect upon their teaching practices. Nominate a course for Texas Teach-Up!

The Center for Teaching and Learning eagerly returns to our Inclusive Teaching and Learning Symposium where we invite you to Pause for Pedagogy. This year’s event will focus on promoting inclusive and transformative pedagogy through panels and communities of practice. Submit your proposal by October 10.
